Factory Builder helps you go from a plain-English idea to a working AI-assisted setup, without needing to become an AI tools expert yourself.
What we recommend, and why
We recommend a senior AI assistant (Claude or Codex) to lead and review your work, a private repository you fully control as the home for your code, and – only where it's safe to – a cheaper helper for routine tasks. We never default to a cheaper provider for sensitive or regulated data.
No lock-in
Your plan is yours: a private repository, standard provider accounts, and a written plan you can download or print. If you ever want to leave, you can take your code and your plan with you.
